The Florida Master Naturalist Program teaches people about the unique ecosystems and natural resources around them.

In Okaloosa and Walton Counties, Master Naturalists have partnered with the tourist development council to offer training and certification to eco-tourism operators. Ecotourism and agritourism can be an answer to the need for jobs, and the Master Naturalist training can help create opportunities for people who are starting new business and trying to grow and develop new communities.
